Johnny William Jones, 62, of Evensville, died Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at Erlanger Health System. Mr. Jones was born in Harlan Ky. He was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his wife, Becky Smith Jones; and father, Denver Jones. Survivors include his mother, Doris Burwick Jones of Dayton; daughter, Jean Pelfrey of Dayton; fiancé, Connie Wilson of Dayton; two sisters, Donna (Leslie) Gentry and Tara Jones both of Dayton; brother, Robert Jones of Dayton; three grandchildren, Heather and Tyler Hughes and Dakota Pelfrey; seven step-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Feb. 6, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral Home with Carroll Henderson officiating. Burial will be at Buttram Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday, Feb. 6, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Coulter Garrison Funeral Home of Dayton is in charge of arrangements.
