John Arthur Rocco, 78 of Dayton, died Sunday, January 31, 2010. Mr. Rocco moved to Dayton from New Jersey in 2000 to enjoy the fishing that the South is known for. He was a former employee with Walden Security and had worked at the Justice Center of the Hamilton County Courts. He attended Calvary Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife of seven years, Deborah Rocco; sons, John C. Rocco, Paul E. Rocco, Chris Todd, David Todd and Jeff Todd; daughters, Dorothy Bavis, Becky Jones and Julie Adams; brother, Carmen Rocco; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at a later date. There will be no services or visitation at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Chattanooga, Tenn. is in charge of arrangements.
