Mrs. Brudett was preceded in death by her husbands, Harold J. Carden and Rev. Tommy Burdett; and brother, Clyde C. Runyan.

Survivors include her son, Harold "Mackie" (Bonnie) Carden of Evensville; daughter, Freida Jo McDaniel of Decatur, Tenn.; grandchildren, Peyton Carden, Allison (Ben) Herd, Amanda (Daniel) Levi, Melissa Angel, Heather Owenby, and Brent Dillard; great grandchildren, Alexander Herd, Sara Herd, Chelsea Levi, Brycen Levi, Ashley Lankford, Destiny Angel, Zakk Angel, Gavin Shaver and Carson Shaver; one sister-in-law, Dorothy Runyan; one niece; three nephews; and several great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Jan. 20, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Smith Funeral Home in Athens, Tenn. with Michael Hawkins officiating.  Burial was at Mountain View Memory Gardens in Decatur, Tenn.

A memorial service will be held Saturday Feb. 6, at 2 p.m. at Smyrna Baptist Church with Pastor Roger Rothwell officiating. Friends are invited to attend the service and share their loving memories of Mrs. Burdett.  Eulogies will be presented by special and longtime friend, Margaret Thomas; and granddaughters, Melissa and Heather.
