Elisha "Peanut" Dillard

Elisha "Peanut" Dillard, 83, of Dayton, died Sunday, June 28, 2009 at Rhea Medical Center.

Mr. Dillard was a lifelong resident of Rhea County.

Mr. Dillard was preceded in death by his parents, Horse and Mary Dillard; and several brothers and sisters.

Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Dillard of Dayton; children, Tommy Dillard, Larry (Janie) Dillard, Rick Dillard, Lorie Dillard and Jeanette Dillard all of Dayton; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 1, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral Home with Rev. Scott Arnold and Rev. Audie May officiating.  Burial will be at Spring
City Memorial Garden.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 30, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Coulter Garrison Funeral Home of Dayton is in charge of arrangements.
