Edward A. "Eddie" Ladd, 57, died Sunday, June 28, 2009 at his residence.

Mr. Ladd was born in Grandview.  He was a graduate of Spring City High School.  Mr. Ladd retired from Tennessee Valley Authority after 30 years.  He was a member of Grandview Baptist Church, Rhea Springs Lodge #310 F. & A.M., and the Alhambra Shrine Temple.

Mr. Ladd was preceded in death by his father, Earl Ladd.

Survivors include his wife, Debbie Burger of Spring City; mother, Ava Lee Reed Lad of Grandview; daughters, Tara (Scott) Boles of Rockwood, Tenn., Angela (Todd) Aikman of Ten Mile, Tenn. and Sonja Ladd of Thomaston, Ga.; step children, Jason (Jennifer) Bostic of Decatur, Tenn. and Adria (Rick) Dreas of Graysville; sister, Fran (Tom) Manning of Spring City; brother, Phillip (Nancy) Ladd of Spring City, special sister, Phyllis Phillips of Atlanta, Ga.; special aunt, Mary Garrison of Grandview; and eight grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 30, at 11 a.m. at Grandview Baptist Church with Rev. Herman Fox officiating.  Masonic services will follow the services at the church.  Burial will be at Spring City Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends Monday, June 29, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Vaughn Funeral Home. The family would like to thank Dr. Niladri Panda for his care and held during this time.

Vaughn Funeral Home of Spring City is in charge of arrangements.
