Katherine Lorine Godbehere

Katherine Lorine Godbehere, 73, of Dayton, died Thursday, June 23, 2009 at her residence. Mrs. Godbehere was a life-long resident of Rhea County. She was a member of Garrison Baptist Church. Mrs. Godbehere was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Godbehere; father, Bill Minton; and three brothers. Survivors include her mother, Olie Oldham Minton of Dayton; two sisters, Fay (Tommy) Harmon, and Debbie (Doc) Hoffman both of Dayton; brother, Ray Minton of Dayton; special friends, Pansy Webb and Ruby Burchard; several nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 27, at 5 p.m. in the chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Breeden officiating. Burial will follow at Garrison Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday, June 27, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Chattanooga, 4411 Oakwood Drive, Chattanooga, TN 37416. Coulter Garrison Funeral Home of Dayton is in charge of arrangements.
