Beatrice Almira Moneymaker Freels

Beatrice Almira Moneymaker Freels, 95 of Dayton, died Friday, June 19, 2009 at Soddy Daisy Health Care.

Mrs. Freels was a longtime resident of Rhea County.  She was a member of New Union Baptist Church.

Mrs. Freels was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Freels; six brothers, Claxton, Homer, Berlin, Ernest, Joe and Delmas Moneymaker; two sisters, Berniece Stinecipher and Mary Alberta Moneymaker; and grandson, Tim Garrison.

Survivors include two sons, Ralph Bentley Freels and Edsel (Shirley) Freels both of Dayton; two daughters, Ester Garrison and Mary (Emory Lowe) Daniels both of Dayton; brother, Rector Moneymaker of Lake City, Tenn.; sister Bonnie Campbell of Concord, Tenn; five grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday, June 22, at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Coutler Garrison Funeral Home with Dr. Danny Ruehling officiating.  Burial will be at Spring City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Sunday, June 21, after 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

Coulter Garrison Funeral Home of Dayton is in charge of arrangements.
