Mary M. Warren, 57, died Thursday, June 11, 2009, at her residence.

Mrs. Warren was born in Rhea County, the daughter of John Fielden Smith and Hazel Ray Essex.  She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.  

Mrs. Warren was preceded in death by her father, John Fielden Smith and brother, Harvey Pendleton.

Survivors include her husband, Allen Warren of Spring City; mother, Hazel Ray Essex of Spring City; daughters, Vickie Harrison and Crystal Godsey both of Spring City; sons, Willie Warren of Spring City, Gene Godsey of Dayton, Jason, Joe and Charlie Godsey all of Spring City; sister, Ruby Pendleton of Athens, Tenn.; brothers, Gene and Roy Pendleton both of Spring City and Richard Pendleton of Illinois; 18 grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, June 14, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home with the Rev. Claude Pendergrass and Rev. Paul Daniels officiating.  Burial will be in the Knob Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Saturday, June 13, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the funeral home.

Vaughn Funeral Home of Spring City is in charge of arrangements.
